This locally-sourced calendar for dang-near EVERY event in the Kimberley & Cranbrook area is done by the human labour of Jeremy / HI54LOFI, independent work that is kindly supported thru $95 MONTHLY ‘Mutually Beneficial Employment’ collaborations with the following local businesses/organizations:
As well as with $95 QUARTERLY ‘MBE’ collaborations with: Mountain Grass Gallery + Bistro, The Hourglass, Huckleberry Books and… maybe Your Local Business/Organization? Because locals supporting locals supporting locals is the best kind of recurring local event… and on that note:

PS - hitting the ‘LOAD MORE EVENTS’ button above will keep loading events until there are no more events to load. And you can adjust the calendar view to chronological or monthly, filter by Kimberley or Cranbrook by clicking on the matching tag, or even use the search box to filter events by certain words / businesses (like “music” or "yoga" or "Key City" or etc). Click on any event above for more details + you’ll find a link back to the original Facebook event where you can find out more directly from the source.

I also put together a weekly newsletter called THE WEEKLY EH?! that gets sent out EVERY Monday with a highlight of 5 happenings happening for the current week + 4 other items of some locals’ interests — SO — if you think you would like to receive a FREE weekly update like that in your inbox, please add your email address to the sign-up form below:

And you can also always visit the digital-zine that is the 95EH.CA tumblr to see what other local area content is available out there on the URLs and IRLs + you can also follow @95EHdotCA on the Instagram and on the Facebook for even more stuff, like #TheDailyEH and ‘InstaEHs’ and a bunch of other grade ‘EH?!’ material.

Q: OK… but how do I get my local area event/s listed on The 95EH Events Calendar?

This works as simply as you making a Facebook Event for your event — which is probably something you're already doing (and, if not, given how many people use Facebook, especially in the local area, it probably should be something you’re doing)— AND… that's it. After you make a Facebook Event for your event, 95EH will either find your event on Facebook the next time we go on a new event search, or you can also email hey@95eh.ca the link to your Facebook event to make sure it’s not missed (because sometimes Facebook's event searching doesn't work perfectly… basically, if you noticed the 95EH Facebook page marking itself as ‘Interested’ in your event, that means it’s flagged to get added to THE 95EH EVENTS CALENDAR).

Here’s a Facebook post with a bit more detail about all this if you want to read more (but the process on your end is basically just create a Kimberley or Cranbrook or local area public event on Facebook and that’s it).

Alternatively — say, for example, if you are adamant of not wanting to use Facebook, even if it’s for getting your event out there to more eyeballs (which is a sentiment that I completely understand, even though I also think it’s possible to try and just use Facebook for things that it’s good for and then log off)— there is also a ‘Submit Event’ button on THE 95EH EVENTS CALENDAR that you can use to submit a local area event for inclusion in the calendar without needing to create a Facebook event (you can also click this link to submit your local area event).

Q: And what exactly is this ‘mutually beneficial employment’ thing you mentioned earlier?

Well, you can actually read more about that over at: moun.town/mbe

And then if you have any other questions or queries that I have not pre-guessed above, you can just send a “hey?!” over the internets via ancient email technology to:

hey@95eh.ca
